Horse Math ("the App") is operated by Gingerbread Ranch. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
- Account information – your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account name and profile picture.
- Herd & breeding data – horse names, dates, medical notes, earnings, and other records you enter into the App. This data is stored in your account and is not shared with other users unless you explicitly transfer or share a horse.
- Device token – a push notification token generated by your device so the App can send you reminders. This token is stored in your account and not used for advertising.
- Usage data – Firebase automatically collects basic crash and performance data to help us improve the App. This does not include personally identifiable information beyond what is described above.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- To authenticate your identity and protect your account.
- To send you reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Storage
All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud servers in the United States. Data is protected using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Biometric Data
If you enable Face ID or fingerprint unlock, biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The App never accesses, stores, or transmits biometric data.

Your Rights
- Access & export – you can export all your herd data at any time from the Data & Account section of the App.
- Delete – you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Data & Account → Delete Account. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Correction – you can edit or delete any information you have entered at any time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
